After many years living in London, a young American couple purchased their first home together on a quiet close in Kensington. They sought guidance in shaping the overall design direction for the home, with a focus on establishing a cohesive palette that would complement the character of the property while creating a warm and comfortable environment for everyday life.

Chelsea Greenway Design helped shape the home’s overall interiors, from flooring and paint colours to marble, furnishings and final styling.

To bring warmth and character to the interiors, the home was furnished with a thoughtful mix of antiques and contemporary pieces. Decorative elements sourced from markets in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and the Paris flea markets introduce patina and depth, while final styling and window treatments lend a sense of quiet refinement throughout the living spaces.

After the couple learned they were expecting their first child, Chelsea Greenway designed a nursery that balances sophistication with a sense of playfulness, layering soft textures and gentle tones to create a comforting and timeless room for the family’s newest arrival.
