An American and British couple purchased this Fulham garden flat, drawn in large part to its beautiful outdoor space. Chelsea Greenway Design helped develop the interiors across the living room, kitchen, bedroom and garden, creating a warmer and more characterful home that felt connected to the landscape beyond.

The existing flat lacked some of the depth and warmth the clients were looking for, particularly within the darker kitchen. The design direction introduced an earthy palette of soft greens and natural tones alongside new flooring, paint colours, window treatments, lighting, joinery and furnishings.

Antiques and vintage pieces were layered throughout to give the home a sense of history and individuality, while the artwork was sourced from London and across Europe. In the bedroom, the brief became more intimate and decorative, with the client drawn to the idea of a jewel-box room reminiscent of a Parisian hotel.

The result is a relaxed, collected home that balances the couple’s British and American influences while keeping the garden at the heart of the scheme.
